As a father of a young child, I've spent the last several years trying to plan fun activities with my family. It's not always easy to find the information needed to plan these activities, especially in a single source. My goal is to take the time and energy to develop a comprehensive and reliable resource, in the form of DanRiverMoms.com, that helps families plan activities in the Danville, VA area – as well as provide a place to highlight local businesses that may not otherwise get exposure.

DanRiverMoms.com is a resource for families who are either living in or visiting the Danville, VA area. The goal of this site is to provide a central reliable source for community event info, listings of family-friendly businesses and venues, and objective listings/reviews of relevant local businesses and venues. Anyone may submit an event for posting on this site's Calendar of Events, which will be reviewed for alignment with our site's guidelines.
